I love school...
Just a quick one because it's the first week of my course and I am exhausted...
but I was sitting up the back of class today, quietly knitting some socks - teacher notices and...
turns the lights on for me, cos, you know - good OH&S practises :)

But...it got me thinking: how would I feel if one of my students started knitting in one of my classes? :-(
Mind you, my classes aren't lectures, they're full-on, participation needed, English to adult speakers of other languages - so that makes a difference [I think].
